OK….anyone that knows me will tell you I’m a gear nut and always looking at ways to reduce weight of my kit and maximize effectiveness.
I recently picked up a couple of the SAR Dog Tag Eclipse Signal System and this fits the bill. After all the whole purpose of survival is being found and this item offers that in a lightweight system that literally fits in the palm of your hands. I am very impressed with the simplicity and multiple uses of this item and it will without a doubt be part of my EDC.

I know it’s months away and many of you may think I’m crazy for even bringing this up, but it will be here before me know it….like it or not. Granted our portion of Indiana is not some vast untamed wilderness like other areas of the US, but we all know that bad winter weather is a fact of life here.

Quite some time ago I started the Store front as a means to help pay for the maintenance and keep the site up and running.
Due to the success of the sales from the web site and my online auctions on ebay…..I purchased the domain www.paracordgearguy.com and folks are being redirected to the store page here on the blog.
Utilizing both of these sites will allow me to keep costs low, avoiding the seemingly ever-increasing eBay seller and listing fees and pass on those savings to the customers.
Thanks again for all your help and support…..and check out some of the “Black Friday” deals I have going on through the end of December.
