One of the things I have done thru my preps is standardizing the type of batteries I use. Rather than have some flashlights that use C-cell, others that use D-cells, and other gear that uses AA….you can see my point. And it seems that whenever you need a battery….you have everything else BUT the one/type you need.
I have chosen to go with AA batteries for my radios, mini-mag lites and other gear. The only exception to this is batteries for my weapon lights, gotta love those Surefires.
Anyway, here’s the solar charger that I came up with that works well.
